Ms. Megan O'Brien, Principal

 Ms. O'Brien is proud to be on the administrative team of Huron High School as the Principal. Prior to her administrative positions, she had served the district since 2003 as a member of the high school teaching staff. In addition, she was the Theatre Director and School Improvement Co-Chair along with numerous other extra-curricular and voluntary positions. What Ms. O'Brien enjoys the most is working with our Huron families, staff, and community. In her spare time, global travel is something she also tremendously loves.  Megan O'Brien
 Ms. O'Brien is a life-long learner that is passionate about education and educational leadership. She holds a B.S. in Secondary Education from Central Michigan University, a Master's Degree in The Art of Education from Marygrove College, a Post-Master's Certification in Educational Leadership from Eastern Michigan University, and will soon be completing her Specialist's Degree in Educational Leadership at E.M.U.

Ms. O'Brien also serves on the state board as Wayne County's Regional Representative on a three year term for the Michigan Association of Secondary School Principals (MASSP). Ms. O'Brien is passionate about leadership and furthering positive causes to better serve the educational leaders in the area. Two areas that she intends to focus on are continuing to strive for alternatives with suspensions and increasing academic achievement.
